Conservation goals and activities of Mountain Living Land.
We have recently secured a conservation lease on 640 acres of
rugged, west Texas desert wilderness. This property features
diverse wildlife, an incredible array of plant life, several canyons,
arroyos, bluffs and hills.

We will be posting signs on the property plus adding gates and
some fencing to protect it from trespassers, poachers, cactus
thieves, artifact hunters, rock hounds, and off-road vehicles. We
also plan to add at least one water guzzler (water catchment for
wildlife), two or three wildlife observation blinds, and some primitive
camp sites for visiting guests, naturalists, and researchers.

The area will be closed to the public but open to by special
invitation. If you are conservation minded and would like to explore
the area, give us a call.

Look for lots of photos and details soon.
Conservation Goal: Protect, preserve, and restore as much wild
in the Big Bend area as possible.

Conservation Plans:
Land sales is just how we pay the bills.
It is NOT our ultimate purpose.
This area is special and deserves conservation.
Hold on to some of the most sensitive properties we acquire and
placed them into a conservation trust managed by us.

Donate other sensitive and strategically located land to respected
conservation groups, state, or national parks.

Lease various sections of state owned land to maintain and protect
them by preventing abuse by trespassers, poachers, cactus
theives, artifact collectors, rock hounds, and off-road vehicles.
